Where is the equipment imported from?
LA Solar Factory uses production equipment from the Swiss company Meyer Burger, one of the most established manufacturers of solar cell and module technology. The Yerevan plant runs a highly automated line with 350 MW of annual production capacity, allowing consistent quality control across every stage of module assembly.
Which countries are LA Solar Factory products exported to?
Approximately 70% of LA Solar Factory's production is exported. Modules ship to the United States, Europe and the Eurasian Economic Union, reaching more than 40 destination countries. The factory operates from the Alliance free economic zone in Yerevan, Armenia, and holds certifications valid for the US, EU and EAEU markets.
How many years of warranty are provided with the solar modules?
All LA Solar modules carry a 30-year product warranty covering manufacturing defects. The performance warranty guarantees at least 90% of nominal output after 10 years and at least 80% after 30 years. Warranty terms apply to modules installed according to the published installation manual.
What certificates does the company have?
LA Solar Factory holds UL 61215 and UL 61730 certified by Intertek, IEC 61215 and IEC 61730, IEC TS 62804-1 for PID resistance, CE certified by DEKRA, and EAC. The company also operates management systems certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 by AB Certification.
Are solar panels worth it?
Solar panels reduce electricity costs by generating power on site, and in many markets surplus output can be exported to the grid. The value depends on your electricity tariff, roof orientation and system size. LA Solar modules carry a 30-year warranty, so the system typically continues producing long after it has paid for itself.
How many solar panels do I need?
Divide your annual electricity consumption by the expected annual output of one module. As a rough guide, a 630 W LA Solar module produces meaningfully more per unit of roof area than a 450 W one, so higher-efficiency modules reduce the panel count for the same output. What are solar panels made of?
A solar panel consists of crystalline silicon cells laminated between protective layers and framed in aluminium. LA Solar produces both monocrystalline PERC modules and N-Type TOPCon modules. TOPCon adds a thin oxide passivating layer that reduces electrical losses, which is why our TOPCon models reach higher efficiency than the PERC range.
Do solar panels increase home value?
A solar installation lowers a property's running costs, which buyers increasingly factor into value. The effect varies by market, system age, roof suitability and local electricity prices. A well-installed system with documented generation history gives a prospective buyer evidence of the savings it delivers.
How efficient are solar panels?
Module efficiency measures how much of the sunlight striking a panel is converted into electricity. LA Solar modules range from 20.60% (LS430-450BL) to 23.30% (LS630TC N-Type TOPCon). Higher efficiency means more power from the same roof area, which matters most where installation space is limited.
How do solar panels work?
Solar panels convert sunlight into electricity through the photovoltaic effect. Photons striking the silicon cells release electrons, producing a direct current. An inverter converts this into alternating current for use in the building, and any surplus can be exported to the grid where local rules allow.
